Procrastination

"As long as you procrastinate, you never have to confront the real limits of your ability, whatever those limits are."
- Procrastination: Why You Do It, What to Do About It (Jane B. Burka, Lenora M., Ph.D. Yuen)

This may already seem obvious when you just read it alone, but when I read it in the context of trying to figure out why the hell it is that I still procrastinate so much, it just really hit home for me. I need to test my abilities, I need to know where I stand.

I'm entering a new stage in my life where procrastinating won't just lower my grade a couple of points. It can cost me a lot more. The failure to realize my dreams - whether it be grad school, or success at work or anything else.

I won't let it run my life any longer. Time to be proactive.

Last Exam

I took my last exam ever today.... or at least for a very long time (grad school?)
It was French 2, and less than 5 minutes after I walked out, I realized that I wrote revenirai instead of reviendrai on the very first question of the exam. *shrug* No one said the last exam ever had to be perfect.

I won't miss the finals crunch, that's for sure. Too much stress for too little rewards.
